YAY!Hey, you remember that I have a guestbook don't you? Good. Thought so. I'm free. I'm cast-less. I can drive. I can go to work. I can walk. I want to swear that I'll never take this for granted again but I can't. Yet, I appreciate the things I can do now that the cast is off way more than I did before I had it on at all. I showed up at the doctor's office thinking that I was going to be sent home wearing another cast. Once inside Dr. Atlas' office, he takes the dirty and disintegrating cast off and feels around, asking me if I'm in pain anywhere. I answer yes but he points out that some parts will just be sore for a while because of the stretching. Makes more sense than anything. So, I got to walk out of the office. My foot looks anorexic though. I'll cope. Actually, it looks like I got involved in Chinese Foot binding. I left my house tonight in search of Tony. And I found him. We hung out at the corner talking and hugging and catching up. He asked me if I wanted to go to the Nevele with him on Saturday and I think I want to go. I can kick his ass in Shuffleboard any day. But it was good to see him. I missed him this weekend. Blah. I've gotta go and sleep.
