I know this will pass but I want to go home.I gave blood today and it was too painful. It was my 3rd time donating. AJ calls that patriotic. After today I call it sadistic.
But like, I went there without fear of giving blood cause I'd done it before. I go through the motions of checking to see that I'm qualified to give blood and am happy to learn that I can. So I'm lead to this cot on which I lie and they insert the needle.
Small problem. They've inserted the needle but haven't hit the vein. Instead of taking it out, they manipulate my muscles and everything from the inside and move the needle to where it must go. What does this lead to? Nothing less than a numb forearm, a tingling sensation in my hand and a general sense of being pissed off.
9 hours later, my arm is still sore.
Go America. Glad I could help. Even happier that it wasn't the arm of my writing hand.
