Quote of the Minute

"I'm right, aren't I?" he asked.I said yes."Oh good, a girl that thinks I'm always right.""Mhmm," I replied sarcastically."Now you see, why can't I find a woman like you?""Cause I live two hours away and am one of a kind.""No, that's not what I mean," he says. "It has nothing to do with you living two hours away. I meant, why can't I find a girl who thinks I'm always right?""Cause I'm lying to you."He stops dead in his tracks with this "deer caught in the headlights look.""You see, you took an oath that said you had to be truthful with me. I did no such thing," I continued."Oh, so you can lie and cheat on me all you want, then.""Yeah," I smile."But how old are you, anyways?" he flirts."Eighteen and nineteen in January.""Ouch. I'm old enough to be your dad."The nurse comes in for a second as he straps up my foot again."How old are you?" "Thirty-one.""Yeah. Fogey. There are a lot of 13 year-old dads walking around lately." That was yesterday morning with Dr. Atlas. I had a short skip in my walk though you wouldn't know it cause I still appear to be limping. Go me. Still kicking it with the early 30 year-olds. I'd be ashamed if I was younger but really, this guy is so my type. I just gotta find someone like him who's 21-24.
