Quote of the Minute

I just got home after spending the night in the guestroom of my brother's house in Walden. Marisa and I got drunk and did facials and dyed our hair. Mine is no longer radioactive red. I'm liking this a lot more than what it was a few days ago. Too red and too processed due to the harsh waters at the college. I already miss my friends from there.

I'm waiting for Tony to call me so we can go out to dinner somewhere. I need to somehow piece together the best of the person I am now with the person I was a year ago.

My car is in the shop until Monday. It needs new struts. I'm working on it. I'm just also very exhausted from this cast on my foot and not having any way to get it off before Tuesday.

But on the bright side, my computer's hooked up in my room so I can now burn more CDs with all my guilty pleasure songs.

My last night at college included me dancing around wtih Kevin in my room. Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag" was playing on my Winamp and I was walking around the room like a silent movie actress trying to be Charlie Chaplin. I had a plastic bowl on my head as I strut around the room pretending like it was 60 years ago.

But 60 years ago, there were no boys allowed in girls dorms...hee.
