Nick got laid off yesterday. He called me late last night to tell me that he might get a job back home (hour and a a half away) that pays better. He assured me that this would only mean that he'd just live down there for the week and come back up on weekends or more. I didn't feel stupid telling him that I was afraid of him going because he could decide that it's not worth the drive to Albany every weekend to keep an apartment he only sees on the weekend. Nick said things'd be fine.I hope they will be.
