It's been a while and I've neglected you.Stuff has been happening with M. And what's important is that I say it was happening with M, not with me. He's just gotten himself into a world of shit that doesn't involve me and it's for the best that I both understand that and let it go.
I received and important letter yesterday which brought me back to a side of myself I haven't seen in a while. Kym wrote me from Germany, asking how I was and telling me that her company (she's in the army) will be going through Iraq in April on a "peace keeping mission."
My ass. I love her. I hope she stays safe. Her handwriting hasn't changed. The letter was written to me on the same type of stationery that she used to use when she wrote me as a teenager.
And now we're both 20, involved in our own different peace keeping missions.
